TGA Parent-Child Golf League at Golf Lounge 18

The TGA Parent-Child Golf League will take place at Golf Lounge 18, which is an indoor golf facility at the Westchester Mall in White Plains (on the second floor next to Neiman Marcus) with five state-of-the-art simulator hitting bays utilizing TrackMan 4, which is the technology used by many PGA Tour pros.

The Parent-Child League will run for six weeks (dates for Session 1 and Session 2 appear below). You may select either Saturday or Sunday as your base day, but we do have flexibility to switch you to the other day for a given week should an unavoidable conflict arise. We are also running matches on Saturday and Sunday in our junior league, so the exact time slots for both leagues will depend on enrollments, however, you can expect the Parent-Child matches to take place somewhere in the 8:30am - 12:00 pm window each week. As is the case in any sports league, the time slot will vary slightly each week in that window on a rotating basis. For example, you may have 8:30 a.m. one week and 10:15 a.m. the next week.

Each match will consist of three Parent-Child teams, but you will be competing against the entire league each week, not just the other two Parent-Child teams in your time slot. The format is a two-player scramble so each time you will proceed to the best shot (however, there are restrictions on how many times you can use a certain player's shot - we want to balance it out so both players on the team have an equal impact on the competition). Matches will take place on some of the most famous courses in the world as well as a few of the system's fictional courses that are well-suited for league play.

In addition to awarding points for the low scores each week, bonus points are awarded for statistical categories such as longest drive (children and adults compete in their own categories for this one), greens in regulation, up and downs for par or better, team pars, birdies and eagles, among others. Each week players will receive an email with a recap of the weekend's matches as well as league standings, team and individual stats and a preview of the next weekend's course.

Session 1 of both leagues will begin Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 19-20, and run for six weekends (11/19-20, 12/3-4, 12/10-11, 12/17-18, 1/7-8, 1/21-22. Session 2 of both leagues will begin on Jan. 28-29 and also run for six weekends (1/28-29, 2/4-5, 2/11-12, 3/4-5, 3/11-3/12, 3/18-19

The cost per team for one session is $599.
