Weekend Junior League at Golf Lounge 18

 
The TGA Junior Golf League will take place at Golf Lounge 18, which is an indoor golf facility at the Westchester Mall in White Plains (on the second floor next to Neiman Marcus) with five state-of-the-art simulator hitting bays utilizing TrackMan 4, which is the technology used by many PGA Tour pros.
 
The Junior Golf League will run for six weeks (dates for Session 1 and Session 2 appear below). You may select either Saturday or Sunday as your base day, but we do have flexibility to switch you to the other day for a given week should an unavoidable conflict arise. We are also running matches on Saturdays and Sundays in our Parent-Child League, so the exact time slots for both leagues will depend on enrollments, however, you can expect the Junior Golf League matches to take place somewhere in the 8:30 am - 12:00 pm window each week. As is the case in any sports league, the time slot will vary slightly each week in that window on a rotating basis. For example, you may have 8:30 a.m. one week and 10:15 a.m. the next week.
 
There will be up to six golfers in each time slot, and players will compete with different teammates each week in a scramble format. Point standings are compiled on an individual basis, but teammates vary week to week. This format keeps the league balanced.
 
The matches will be played on some of the most famous courses in the world as well as some fictional courses in the system that are well-suited for matches. We will award points for the low team scores each week (for example, 20 points for the low score, 15 for second, 12 for third, etc.). Bonus points will be awarded for fairways hit, greens in regulation and up-and-downs. In addition to fun competition, players will receive a league email every Monday that will include the following: recap of both matches, league standings, team stats and individual statistical leaders. And players will be able to track their own progress during the season with a breakdown of how they are doing in various categories such as driving distance, driving accuracy (fairways hit) and greens in regulation. Finally the email will provide a preview of the next week’s course.
 
Session 1 of both leagues will begin Saturday and Sunday, Nov 19-20, and run for six weekends (11/19-20, 12/3-4, and 12/10-11, 12/17-18, 1/7-8, 1/21-22. Session 2 of both leagues will begin on Jan 28-29 and also run for six weekends (1/28-29, 2/4-5, 2/11-12, 3/4-5, 3/11-12, 3/18-19).
 
The cost per player for one session is $499.
